Every great space starts with a clear vision. For our founder, Lana, the journey to opening Studios Accento was fueled by a sudden, intense passion for movement. Lana grew up in Palestine and moved to Canada to earn her BA in Marketing from Concordia University. After working abroad in Calgary, Dubai, and Palestine, she returned to Montreal in 2011 to manage her family’s business.
During this time, Lana started taking Salsa and Bachata classes. She attended various congresses and events, falling completely in love with the community. She wanted to expand her repertoire and try new styles, but she struggled to find a facility that met her expectations. She noticed a gap in the market for a clean, modern space that offered diverse styles, flexible memberships, and a welcoming atmosphere for beginners.
That realization sparked the mission behind Studios Accento. Lana set out to create a facility that checked every box. Today, the space stands as a testament to her goal, providing a beautiful, well-equipped environment where students of all levels can thrive.
